The Knights of Columbus Council #9806 is committed to caring for both mothers and their children before and after birth. We provide material, financial, labor and other support to pro-life pregnancy centers that help women during pregnancy and following the birth of their newborn children, as well as to those centers who provide after abortion help.

Birthright of Joliet, (Located in Joliet) established in 1973, exists to help
women facing unplanned pregnancies. They offer free pregnancy tests,
pregnancy counseling with alternatives to abortion, community resources,
clothing resources for mother and baby, and other supports.

Caring Network (Locations in Darien, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, West
Chicago, & Wood Dale) works to prevent unplanned pregnancies, and to
provide emotional support, spiritual counsel, and practical help to anyone
dealing with the effects of an unplanned pregnancy.

Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center (Locations in Coal City,
Joliet, & Kankakee) is committed to equipping those facing pregnancy decisions
with excellent care, compassionate support, and honest information. It is their
desire to provide her with the resources, information, and emotional support
she needs to care for herself and her family during her pregnancy and long after
the baby is born.

Nativity House (Located in Lockport) seeks to promote and live out Catholic
Social Teaching in multiple aspects. They serve as a house of hospitality for
first time mothers, provide a mothering community offering education and
support for all mothers, offer a community supported farm (CSA) that provides
nourishment for the mothering community and the greater community, and
they cultivate a healing environment focused on the dignity of each person, the
dignity of work, and stewardship of the earth.

Waterleaf’s (Located in Aurora) mission is to be the chosen destination for
women facing an unplanned pregnancy, transforming their fear into
confidence, by addressing their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, and
equipping them to make healthy life-affirming decisions. Through God’s grace,
